The electric motor is the one who acts most of the time as the main one to move it. In fact, there are two engines with different functions: one for propulsion and the other that works as a generator, taking advantage of decelerations to recharge the small 1.3 kWh battery. The 2.0 comes in at higher speeds or stronger accelerations, where it can be efficient, and also as a power generator for the batteries.
The e:HEV technology, a hybrid of two high-efficiency electric motors, combines driving pleasure and low fuel consumption.
Visually renewed, the new Hybrid Accord brings more equipment and is even safer.
The series hybrid is a mode of operation where the combustion engine is used only to generate electricity, which is sent to the electric propulsion that effectively moves the car.
Interior
In addition to the adaptive cruise control with lane keeping assistant, ventilated electric front seats and projection of information on the windshield, the Accord received an induction cell phone charger and four USB connectors, two of which for the spacious rear seat, which also received alert from occupants.
