Hyundai Ioniq 5
Sustainable energy
The Hyundai Ioniq 5 is equipped with an electric motor installed on the rear axle that delivers 218 hp and 350 Nm of torque. As is common in electric cars, acceleration is instantaneous, a characteristic that helps to escape traffic with relative ease, despite the high weight. One of the great novelties of the Hyundai Ioniq 5 is the inclusion of the V2L (Vehicle To Load) functionality. For those who don't know, this means that your Ioniq 5 has the possibility of being a “Giant Powerbank”, since it can supply energy. By connecting via a cable, the Ioniq 5 can charge any electrical device or even briefly charge another electric vehicle.
With the Vehicle to Load system, available outside and inside, the IONIQ 5 works as a true PowerBank, providing energy to charge computers, scooters or even another electric vehicle! The Solar Roof uses sunlight to help charge the batteries. In addition to preventing the 12V battery from discharging, it also allows charging the high voltage battery, making it possible to produce energy for 5.5km*. In one year, with the use of the sunroof, this value can reach 2 000km*. Thanks to augmented reality, the windscreen becomes a 44" head up display, with information on navigation, safety and the surrounding environment.
Interior
Inside the IONIQ 5, living and driving are synonymous. The new electric platform gave us the opportunity to completely reinvent the interior of the vehicle. A wider, flatter floor, with front seats that can be adjusted and fully recline, and a sliding center console that can move around the cabin, providing a truly extraordinary onboard experience.
