Jeep Wrangler 4xe

Sustainable energy

The new Jeep Wrangler 4xe is equipped with a 2.0 liter engine associated with two electric thrusters. In total, the Jeep produces 380 hp and 637 Nm of torque. This allows you to accelerate from 0 to 100 km/h in 6.4 seconds. The electric motors are powered by a battery with a capacity of 17 kWh which is installed under the second row of seats. It should be noted that the Jeep can cover, according to the North American brand, up to 50 km on a WLTP cycle.

The exclusive E-Coasting system allows the new Jeep® Wrangler 4xe Plug-in Hybrid to charge while driving. Once activated, this technology is able to optimize the energy produced during braking, deceleration and navigation, and automatically recharges the battery.

The combination of Hill-ascent Control and Hill-Descent Control creates Selec-Speed Control. The safety system that allows the driver to maintain a constant speed going up and down slopes, on rocky or more complicated terrain, but also on other types of low-speed off-road terrain. With this ESC feature, it is possible to control engine power and brake pressure, maintaining the predetermined speed while driving on off-road terrain.

The new Wrangler 4xe Plug-in Hybrid respects the historic heritage of SUVs with the performance that distinguishes Jeep® durability. The Trail Rated® badge is the only Jeep badge that certifies passing the toughest traction tests on dirt roads and roads slippery with water, mud, snow or gravel.
