Kia Ceed

Sustainable energy

The EcoDynamics+ powertrain increases the efficiency of the Ceed family's 1.6-litre 'Smartstream' diesel engine, reduces CO 2 emissions and reduces owners' operating costs. The implementation of mild hybrid technology in the Ceed family reduces operating costs, makes the consumption of the 1.6 liter diesel blocks more efficient and reduces CO2 emissions by between 5 and 10% (in a combined NEDC cycle)

Kia's new MHEVs also feature the new Intelligent Manual Transmission (iMT), designed specifically for this range of 48V hybrid electric vehicles.

Kia has designed this iMT technology to increase fuel efficiency and consequently reduce CO2 emissions from engines incorporating this 48V hybridization, while maintaining driver control as if it were a conventional manual gearbox. For the driver there is no big difference. The incorporation of iMT change means for Kia the development of a wide range of electrified models, as it will introduce this technology in more models.

Interior

The driving position is very intuitive and you get used to it quickly, as do the options on its large touchscreen. Inside, either the acoustic lining is well achieved or we are dealing with a vehicle that effectively has low noise. We can summarize that the Kia Ceed Hybrid is a car with classic lines, comfortable and spacious interior space and very pleasant to drive.
