Kia XCeed

Sustainable energy

The new Kia XCeed will have three engines available in our market, two of them petrol and one diesel.
The most affordable gasoline engine is the well-known 1.0 T-GDI, the turbocharged three-cylinder with 120 hp and 172 Nm; followed by the 1.4 T-GDI, four cylinders and also turbocharged, with 140 hp and 242 Nm. On the Diesel side, the new XCeed will use the new Smartstream engine, the 1.6 CRDI, with 136 hp.
The 1.0 T-GDI is only available with a six-speed manual gearbox, unlike the 1.4 T-GDI and 1.6 CRDI, which are optionally available with a seven-speed dual-clutch gearbox.

Kia tried to play it safe and, in the fashion segment, in the compact SUV segment, 'throws' the XCeed into the fight with strong and valid arguments, standing out not only for its aesthetics, which is definitely an asset, but also for its driving surroundings, precise controls, roominess and general dynamism, making this 1.0 liter version perfectly suited for a small family. The power delivery made in a 'round' way (energetic at low and high revs) makes this T-GDI engine a good travel companion. We dare say that Kia's revenue has again been well measured in this XCeed.

Interior

The interior retains the style, color scheme and materials. Both in terms of quality and comfort, it's hard to find reasons not to like the sobriety of this SUV. Just as it surprised before, the 12.3” 100% digital cockpit remains well ahead of many competitors, and possibly what has changed the most compared to the other combustion model. Not in appearance, but in functionality.
