With 100 kW of power (136 hp) and 260 Nm of maximum torque, the Zafira-e Life has a limited top speed of 130 km/h, enough to meet the limitations of motorways, while also preserving range.
Depending on the intended use, the Zafira-e Life can be equipped with a lithium-ion battery with a capacity of 75 kWh, which gives it a range of up to 330 kilometers or with a battery of 50 kWh for a range of up to 230 km. . The batteries are integrated under the load compartment, without compromising the volume of the passenger compartment and luggage compartment, they contribute to lowering the vehicle's center of gravity.
The German house offers the top of the range Zafira with electric motorization with a 136 hp and 260 Nm engine, two battery packs of 65 or 75 kWh and autonomies between 230 and 330 km.
The range's electrification program also benefits the Zafira Life, the passenger version of the commercial Vivaro. With capacity for up to nine people and available in three body lengths, the new Zafira-e Life offers all the benefits of versions with combustion engines, now adding the ability to travel in total silence and without emissions. It should be noted that most versions of the Zafira-e Life are less than 1.90 meters tall, which allows them to access conventional underground garages.
Interior
The Opel Zafira-e Life is equipped with leather-upholstered seats, mounted on high-quality aluminum rails, which allow for multiple adjustments. Five-, six-, seven- or eight-seat leather configurations are available. The backrest of the front passenger seat, fully reclining, allows the transport of objects with a maximum length of 3.50 m. Folding down the third row seats increases the luggage capacity of the Zafira-e Life “S” to 1500 liters (up to the roof). Removing the rear seats (which are also easy to reinstall) brings the total load capacity to a maximum of 3397 litres. A more luxurious “Lounge” trim option is available for the longer wheelbase versions, including electric seats with massage function and heating at the front, four removable seats at the rear, each with a 48 cm wide seat. VIP passengers can therefore sit opposite each other and have more legroom.
