Renault Megane Sport Tourer E-tech

Sustainable energy

Up to 65km in 100% electric in urban cycle, and without range restrictions in hybrid mode for long trips.
You can charge the electric motor by connecting it to the domestic electricity grid, or while driving with energy regeneration during braking and deceleration

The main highlight of this Megane Sport Tourer is the engine. This plug-in hybrid solution combines a 1.6-liter gasoline engine with two electric motors that guarantee a combined power of 160 horsepower. What's more, it has a smart clutchless gearbox that adapts to the drive. On the central console we find a button that allows us to select between three modes: Pure refers to 100% electric driving, Sport, as the name implies, helps to extract the full potential of 160 horsepower and, finally, MySense makes autonomous management. There is also the e-Save function that allows you to maintain a charge reserve of up to 40% of the battery.

Interior

Inside, the RS Line details continue with the fabric sport seats and steering wheel logo. However, it is even in the passenger compartment that we find most of the news, mainly in terms of technology, which registers an evolutionary leap. It receives the new 10.2-inch digital instrument panel and 9.3-inch central screen. The Easy Link infotainment system has specific menus for this plug-in hybrid variant, as well as improved graphics that are more intuitive and easier to use. As for space, it is roughly the same as the combustion variants, that is, it continues to be a competent family car and equal to what we have been used to over all these years. Even so, the luggage compartment loses 87 liters compared to versions with a thermal engine, a consequence of the inclusion of batteries.
