A 9.8 kWh battery allows the Renault Mégane e-Tech to travel up to 50 kilometers in 100% electric mode at a speed of 135 km/h, increasing its range to 65 kilometers in an urban cycle, according to the WLTP cycle.
Placed under the front bonnet, there is the biggest novelty in this Renault Mégane E-TECH Hybrid Plug-In RS Line, which translates into the presence of a 1.6-litre four-cylinder petrol engine, with a direct injection system, to which are added two electric motors – the first one, responsible for boosting the vehicle and generating electric current, guaranteeing 67 hp and 205 rpm by itself, and a second one, responsible only for generating electric current, guaranteeing a further 34 hp and 50 Nm.
Interior
Moving on to the passenger compartment and because, together with this new engine, the Mégane also gained some improvements in the interior, highlighting, from the outset, a solid dashboard with good coverings (in particular, in the upper part), from which stands out a 100% digital instrument panel that can be configured depending on the driving mode, as well as a new central screen, visually captivating, also because it appears larger in size – 9.3 inches.
